Rainy day at Maine Wildlife Park with Bryce

This drizzly morning, we were invited to accompany my brother, mom, Meagen and Bryce at Maine Wildlife Park. We arrived nearly two hours before them, so Meo and I began by exploring by ourselves. Today was unusual in that I decided to bring the stroller along, which I NEVER do. My reasons were, I can't carry Meo on my front anymore because I'm too pregnant thus wouldn't be able to hold the backpack and Meo on my back simultaneously if he got tired. And because we were going to be spending at least four hours there, I needed to have food and diapers on me, so I stuck them in the stroller. Meo actually got pretty tired of walking every now and then and was perfectly content to climb up into the stroller to rest, so it worked out well. I just always feel bad putting him in that instead of carrying him, which is just a quirk of mine I guess.

Once our family arrived, Meo wanted to walk around with his cousin and help me push the stroller. We had a very pleasant afternoon observing animals, splashing in puddles and feeding trout. Fortunately it never did anything more than drizzle on us so we were able to stay comfortable.

It was a great morning; I love being able to spend time with my family, especially my cute little nephew! Meo was completely zonked out after our visit and took a four hour car nap! Wozers!
