Maine Wildlife Park 2016

It was a great day to hang out with our beautiful friends Sallie and Amara at the Maine Wildlife Park!

Amara and Meo love taking turns pushing Link around in the stroller.

I love how much fun these three have together!

Poor Meo somersaulted when he ran and tripped down a hill. He got a bloody face, knee and elbow and was pretty much done with the park after that.

This was about 15 minutes after the fall (I consoled him for a while). A tired, sore boy and a sympathetic friend.

Thanks for hanging out with us Sallie and Amara, we had so much fun with you!

Maine Wildlife Park 2015

Today my brother and fiance invited us to join them at the Maine Wildlife Park (they have a family pass) and we were very excited to go see some animals and cousins!

Meo's favorite animal was the moose, but Link's favorite seemed to be the turkeys. He going really close to the cage and almost getting pecked and it was making me a nervous wreck. He thought it was funny though, of course.

My favorite part was watching the orphaned fawns being bottle fed. They were so enthusiastic and adorable.

All the kids loved feeding the fish and seeing them jump up in the water. There were so many!

Meo and Bryce had fun running around everywhere pretending to get away from Cheyanne. It's hard to believe that sort of game seems to have started already. Cheyanne seemed to think it was fun though. And Bryce and Meo were really cute!

Thanks for a fun day guys! We love you!

Rainy day at Maine Wildlife Park with Bryce

This drizzly morning, we were invited to accompany my brother, mom, Meagen and Bryce at Maine Wildlife Park. We arrived nearly two hours before them, so Meo and I began by exploring by ourselves. Today was unusual in that I decided to bring the stroller along, which I NEVER do. My reasons were, I can't carry Meo on my front anymore because I'm too pregnant thus wouldn't be able to hold the backpack and Meo on my back simultaneously if he got tired. And because we were going to be spending at least four hours there, I needed to have food and diapers on me, so I stuck them in the stroller. Meo actually got pretty tired of walking every now and then and was perfectly content to climb up into the stroller to rest, so it worked out well. I just always feel bad putting him in that instead of carrying him, which is just a quirk of mine I guess.

Once our family arrived, Meo wanted to walk around with his cousin and help me push the stroller. We had a very pleasant afternoon observing animals, splashing in puddles and feeding trout. Fortunately it never did anything more than drizzle on us so we were able to stay comfortable.

It was a great morning; I love being able to spend time with my family, especially my cute little nephew! Meo was completely zonked out after our visit and took a four hour car nap! Wozers!
