This was Link's last month of infancy, which is difficult to come to terms with! We've been trying to enjoy every moment of his baby days, and still it seems the time just flew by. Link's 11 month was another fantastic month full of new and exciting developments. Here are some highlights from this month:
- Link took his first steps! The first time was when we were visiting Noah and Noel...Link took a couple of clumsy steps as he dove into me. Then, when Mema was babysitting the boys while Robbie and I went on a date (to see Intersteller!), Link took so steps for Mema. Soon he was starting to take 5 or 6 steps at a time going back and forth between Mama and Daddy. He still doesn't walk around everywhere, definitely still prefers the speed of crawling, but he's on his way to being a toddler!
- He got his very first tooth! It was one of his front bottom teeth. Meo got his first tooth when he was 11 months as well. Mema spotted this first little tooth and was very excited about it!
- He really started to be more into reading this month. His favorite books are lift the flap books, or ones with physical interactions involved. He absolutely loves Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See, and will sit for long periods of time flipping through it over and over again. In fact, he kind of destroyed it and we will have to buy a new one.
- You started waving "hello" and "bye-bye"...so cute!
