Meo has been continuing his Martial Arts journey as a lil' dragon at Riverview. Each week he retains a little bit more and I can tell this is going to be a fun and adventure filled part of his life.

We missed a class because one of us was very sick, so we went to a make-up class at their Topsham dojo. It was a much larger room and they have beautiful land all around them; I imagine it would be a fun place for the boys to go to summer camp when they are older. Because the make-up class was on a Saturday, Robbie was able to join us and see Meo in action for the first time.

3/27/2015 Spring Promotion Ceremony.
Last weekend, Meo had a chance to show what he's learned (along with all the other little dragons) on the big stage at the Riverview Foundation promotion ceremony. Meo waited in an adjacent room with his classmates while Robbie, Link and I watched preformances from all the different age groups. I was nervous leaving Meo in such a huge crowd, considering he's never been left with anyone besides close friends or family, but he did an awesome job! He sat with his friend Jacob and Tim Sir kept them entertained with coloring and pretend dragon fire. At one point, some of the lil' dragons came out on stage and their was no sign of Meo. Worried that he was lost out back or something, I ran out of the auditorium only to find him patiently sitting still (it was not his turn yet!). Whoops! I said "make sure you keep being a great listener" and he said "okay, BYE BYE!".
When it was actually his turn to come on stage, I felt very proud of our little guy. He did a lot of spinning around while he sung the class's dragon song (you can see him in the back), but he was very cute and excited.
And he got promoted to second degree white belt! Robbie was very happy to be able to share that moment with him!
