Our Linky-loo started potty training this 21st month of his life. It's just been very casual...we thought, "hey we should probably take out the little potties again now that Link is able to say words like 'pee-pee' and knows how to take off his diaper." We started reading some potty books to put some ideas into his head. Then after bath time, when Link tends to run full speed naked out of the bath into our room to pee on my yoga mat, Robbie decided to try sticking him on the potty instead. He's gone pee on the potty at least 10 times right after his bath because of this.
Today was a big breakthrough because at dinner time he said "Pee-pee on the potty?", so Robbie brought him in the bathroom and set him down on the potty and he peed! Hooray!!! But then, two minutes later, I heard an alarmed Meo ask "Mama, what's this?!?!" only to find Link had pooped on the floor and got it all over his feet, on the carpet, and on the recliner where he was squealing in delight for mischief made. Baby step!
