Today was like the perfect beach day. The temperature was just right, the water was comfortable, it wasn't crowded, and we were with some of our favorite people (Sarah, Finn and Osa). The kids all got along beautifully and had a wonderful time playing together.
Finn and Osa inspired Meo and Link to do things a little differently on the beach today. Meo enjoyed collection rocks, shells and other treasure for the first time.
And rather than the usual make-a-pile-of-sand-and-immediately-destroy-it mentality, all four kids worked together to make a really beautiful sand castle.
We also enjoyed exploring the rocks a bit and watching the common ringed plovers dance about on the sand.
We munch on wild rose hips and blackberries we found along paths.
Meo found a cool cave to hide out in.
