Today's hike was extra special, because not only did we get to go with a family we love hanging out with, Pippin got to play with his pal too.
Krista and Laren had a pretty rough start to the weekend with getting rear-ended and starting their camping trip a day late. Hopefully a morning up a pretty mountain helped a little. I know that Meo and Link had a lot of fun hanging out with Leela!

Pippin and Viva are both pups (9 months and 5 months respectively), and were pretty nuts playing together.
On the summit.
I loved to hear their little conversations. They are such great friends (I heard them say they were best friends). Both Meo and Leela start kindergarten this week. It's hard to believe we are already at this milestone!
Link had a few good falls on this hike which led to a bruised forehead and scratched up hands. He just really wants to keep up with the big kids and goes all out! Good things Mama's have magic kisses for little boo-boos.
Hurray for beautiful, sunny days that hint of oncoming fall, for goofy friends, for playful pups, and family.
