These are photos from our annual camping trip on Mount Desert Island to visit Acadia National Park. We began the trip just the four of us, and we hiked up Gorham Mountain.

Link fell on the summit and we had to check him for broken teeth and I had to bandage a massive cut on his leg. Besides that...it was awesome.
I love how easily the boys make friends with random people they meet. Here is a little boy they made friends with at the campground.
We biked part of the way around Echo Lake all together. The hills were a bit much for Link to do on his balance bike so he got very tired!
We met up with friends the second day and hiked around Jordan Pond with them.
After the hike we had tea and popovers at Jordan House. It was my first time having this experience and it was well worth the years of anticipation.
The boys enjoyed biking with their friends at the campground and making s'mores around the fire.
On our last day, we all hiked up Dorr Mountain together. This is the highest peak we have attempted as a group and we were a little worried it would be too steep for the kids. But they made it all the way up and down like rock stars.
We rested by the Gardens of Acadia.
And ended our trip with ice cream and wrestling on the green in Bar Harbor.
Thanks for another great trip friends!
