First Snow Day

I suppose we have had some snow already, but today was the first real snow day we've had. It snowed big, fluffy flakes all day long. Robbie worked from home so he wouldn't have to make the long drive to work in the snow. Thus, he got to see Meo plopped down in the snow for the very first time.

First time in the snow (5 months old)

He did not like it. He started crying as soon as I laid him down in the snow and refused to open his eyes. I'm pretty sure he thought he was drowning. But as soon as I picked him up, snow was no longer a scary and sad thing, it was an interesting and exciting thing! He enjoyed looking around at how the snow transformed the world as he knew it.

Mostly, he liked to watch our cat Pi dart around in the snow. Pi even dug a little hole and went poop for our viewing pleasure.
