Me (at dinner time): Meo, can you tell Daddy what we did in the garden today?
Meo: I saw bees!
Me: Yeah, we saw lots of bees! What were they doing?
Meo: Bees were helping to pollinate flowers. Bees eating nectar.
Me: Yes, that's what they were doing! And what happens when they pollinate the flowers?
Meo: They make fruit!
(Robbie looked over at me with his mouth gaping, trying really hard not to get overly excited. We try not to tell him he's smart, rather we try to praise effort. But sometimes its difficult! I can't believe he remembered all that...my little naturalist!)
