Photos of 8 month old Link and 2 year old Meo

Here are some photos of my little 8 month old Link and the last moments of Mattimeo being a two year old:

Meo has been practicing sewing!

We had a whole bunch of friends come over for a barbeque and fun in the back yard!

Meo helped Robbie to build some compost bins.

Meo learned about "kisses"

One thing I really love is seeing Mattimeo play with the kitties. This day was one of the first times that they really played hard together for like a half hour...Meo ran around with a string and the cats chased him. It was adorable! They were both exhausted afterwards.

An experiment with ice and plastic animals.

Watching cars and trucks with the neighbor.

Now Link can follow Meo around!

We got to go blueberry picking with my very good (and very pregnant) friend Amy this summer! This was Link's first time blueberry picking and he loved it.

Amy even made us some special ice cream at her house afterwards!

Link has been getting into "trouble" more now that he is crawling.

There is a free bowling program for children that I signed the boys up for. This was Meo's very first time bowling! He went with his friends Braden, Carter, Nevie and Lachlan.

Meo kind of chucked the ball, but he actually managed to hit pins most of the time! The bumpers helped of course.

We took Link to the drive-in while Mema watched Meo at her house. They ate popcorn and watched "Frozen" together and Meo talked about it for weeks afterwards.

rainy day morning of painting, felting and tea

We went blueberry picking a second time with Amy and ran into our friends Mary and Greg. Mary and Amy are just a month apart in their pregnancies!

I took the boys to Macworth Island for some "stories in the garden". We played on the island while we waited, climbing trees and skipping stones.

Then we met up with our friends Noah and Noel to hear the story. The actual author of the story came to read it (a series of Maine authors) which made it extra special.

Our kitties have been feeling a little stressed with a new baby in town, and we found out that Pi has early onset kidney disease so we got them a couple cat trees (this is what the vet suggested) to give them a high place to retreat to when they feel stressed. They love their new cat trees!

Link fell asleep while I was in the store with him one day.

We took the boys to the drive-in again. This time was to see the new "Planes: Fire and Rescue" movie, which Meo LOVED.

Link absolutely loves making music. Especially with the piano, guitar and drum lately.

This was the third and final time we went blueberry picking this season. This time both Robbie and Amy came. Can you tell we are a blueberry loving family?

Poor Meo had a little tantrum. I'm glad that he doesn't really have many of these.

Robbie and I took Link and Meo to a music class while he was on vacation. Link was a little quite at first, but he soon got really into it and both the boys enjoyed themselves.

Because Pi has early onset kidney disease, I am to give him fluid via injection with a needle once a week. Here I am giving him his IV while the boys watch Totoro and munch on homemade popsicles.
