Linky Loo just turned Two

Dear Linky-Loo,

Happy birthday baby boy. I hope you know how special you are! Your dad and I never intended to call you Linky, let alone Linky-Loo (in fact your Daddy still isn't on board with that one), but somehow I feel like it can't be helped. You are the Linky of the Loos (of the loos of the loos). You are our happy, sweet, little boy who is either always on the go or giving the sweetest cuddles imaginable. You are as wild as tiger but as snuggly as a newborn kitten. We love watching you grow, and you constantly amaze us. You are brave and always trying new things that you see Meo trying; like climbing things we wouldn't think you'd be able to climb, jumping off rocks and tree stumps, hiking up little mountains unassisted,  and pushing chairs up to the counter to reach things you shouldn't have. But you are also innovative and come up with your own little adventures, and there have been many times when Meo said "I'm just doing what Linky taught me to do". You are SO patient, and are able to try something and fail over and over but you never lose spirit and keep on trying until you get it. I hope that is a trait you keep with you always; it's inspiring. You have the mind of an engineer and are always studying things and taking them apart and figuring out how they work. You love music. Sometimes I find you just laying your head down listening to a peaceful piece of classical music or just absorbing one of your favorite songs; completely transfixed. One of your favorite times of the day is our circle time where we sing and dance and play instruments together in the morning. You love exploring the forest and playing in your sandbox. You love to swing and play monster trucks. You love to be silly and run around shouting crazy things at the top of your lungs. You love to read and will read your favorites over and over and over in one sitting until Mommy and Daddy simply have to stop. You don't eat very much right now, which freaks us out, but we are working on that. You know your abcs and your 123s and how to draw circles and thread spools. You are a joy and we are thankful for you everyday. Love you!

Love,

Mama
