Christmas Tree

Chirstmas tree farm in West Newfield

Meo's first Christmas tree is now all decorated! Decorating the tree is one of my favorite holiday traditions. This year we are living with Robbie's parents so we all went to get a tree together. Robbie's parents took us to a tree farm in West Newfield where we were given a saw and able to explore the grounds searching for the perfect tree. This year there wasn't the best selection of trees, but it was a beautiful day, fun to be out there with family, and nice to support a local business.

When we got home we decorated the tree all together (in two shifts; Meo needed a nap midway through) while drinking hot cocoa, munching on butter cookies and listening to Christmas carols. We got Meo a special ornament for his first Chirstmas, and it was fun helping him put it on the tree. I think Meo enjoyed all the lights and feeling the ornaments and tree.
