Yesterday Mattimeo and I had a full day. We began the day by dropping Robbie off at work then heading to Falmouth to check out Lots for Tots. There I had some pretty sweet success. I found a Radio Flyer push walker for less than half the price it is new, in excellent condition! I had wanted to get one of these or something similar for Meo to experiment walking with since he's so keen on cruising these days, but all the nice wooden ones cost so much money. Robbie didn't think it was a good idea to spend so much on one. But when I found the Radio Flyer one for such a great price, he let me get it. Meo loves it! He doesn't walk with it yet, but he pulls himself up onto it, pulls stuff out of the wagon and pushes it back and forth.Soon he'll be cruising around the yard!

At Lots for Tots I also found this sweet Radio Flyer wooden rocking horse in excellent condition for $14! Meo is a little too small to use it now, but it was too great of a find to pass up.

After our little shopping spree, we went for a walk around Macworth Island. The sun had just burned off some clouds and it was absolutely beautiful outside! Meo and I enjoyed our walked tremendously and spent the majority of it singing and making silly noises back and forth to each other.

By the time we got in the car, Meo was exhausted, and he fell asleep immediately. I grabbed some lunch at Tim Horton's drive through and ate in the car while Meo took his afternoon nap. After about an hour, I drove over to Liz's where we had an awesome play date. There was so many people there this time, it was fabulous!

Mattimeo was much more active and exploratory this time than he usually is at play dates; it was awesome! Leela was there too, and they both were all about crawling around the whole house looking for mischief. They were adorable! It is so much fun to see them starting to really interact with one another and to watch what the other one is doing then trying it out for themselves. I loved chasing him around, watching them from the sidelines.

Such a great play date! Thanks Liz! After our fun, Meo was really tired, and I let him take a nap for an hour in the car while I relaxed in the front seat editing pictures. Then we had just enough time to go to Babies R Us to pick up some sized 18 month onesies (my boy is getting so big!) before picking up Robbie from work and heading home for taco Tuesday with Grandma and Grandpa. Another great day!
Awesome find on the walker and rocking horse! We've loved having that walker with Grace and have gotten a ton of use out of it. Meo looks so old in the picture before the banana eating ones!
